1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and the STR Safety & Compliance Academy ("STRSCA," "we," "us," or "our"), an education initiative operated by EZcare. By accessing our website at ezsafety.net, the STRSCA learning management system, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of material changes.

2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or enroll in any program. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old;
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
• All registration information you provide is accurate and current;
• Your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

3 Account Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
• Maintain and promptly update your account information;
• Keep your password secure and confidential;
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account;
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that have been inactive for an extended period.

4 Certification Programs & Enrollment

STRSCA offers the following certification tiers:

• Tier 1 — Awareness Library: Free access to foundational safety content. No certification issued.
• Tier 2 — STR Safety Practitioner Certificate (SSPC): A paid self-paced certification program. Upon successful completion, you receive a digital certificate and LinkedIn badge.
• Tier 3 — STR Safety Manager Certification (SSMC): An advanced paid certification for multi-property operators and compliance professionals. Requires annual renewal.

Enrollment in a paid program constitutes an agreement to the applicable fee schedule. EZcare clients may receive complimentary Tier 2 access as part of their EZcare subscription — subject to the terms of that subscription.

5 Fees, Payment & Refunds

All fees are listed in US dollars and are subject to change with notice. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.

Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for Tier 2 and Tier 3 enrollments, provided you have completed fewer than two (2) modules. Refund requests must be submitted via email to support@ezsafety.net. No refunds will be issued after the 14-day window or after substantial course completion.

All transactions are processed securely. We do not store full payment card information.

6 Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including course materials, videos, assessments, templates, written content, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to STRSCA and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use course content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any course content without written permission;
• Use course materials for commercial purposes or in competing educational products;
• Share login credentials or course access with others;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Platform.

7 Certificates & Credentials

Certificates issued by STRSCA are awarded upon successful completion of all required modules and assessments. Certificates:

• Are non-transferable and issued to the individual who completed the program;
• Are awarded solely for educational completion and do not constitute a license, permit, or government-issued credential;
• May be revoked if obtained through academic dishonesty or misrepresentation;
• For Tier 3, require annual renewal to remain current.

STRSCA makes no guarantee that holding a certificate will satisfy any specific regulatory, insurance, or platform compliance requirement. Users are responsible for understanding applicable laws in their jurisdiction.

8 User Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law;
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or staff;
• Post or transmit spam, malware, or malicious code;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform;
• Impersonate any person or entity;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

9 Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. STRSCA MAKES NO WARRANTIES THAT:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure;
• Course content is complete, accurate, or current with all applicable regulations;
• Completion of any program will result in any specific professional or business outcome.

Safety regulations vary by jurisdiction. Users are solely responsible for verifying the applicability of any course content to their specific properties and legal environment.

10 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRSCA, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless STRSCA and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform.

12 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

13 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Louisiana.
